What is Reiki?

This is a question that does get asked very often.And here is the toffee, it's one of the few question that doesn't have a real answer.Each person is unique and experiences the world differently. Every person experience Reiki healing differently. No two sessions are ever alike.But here is one pointer that most people experience and agree upon during a Reiki session.
- Relaxation. Most people feel a deeper sense of relaxation when engaged in a Reiki session.
- Being in a deeper state of relaxation gives the human body chance to activate its own natural healing,to be in a better state of health, physical health and mental health.
- Just for today don't anger. Be mindful of your anger in every moment. Anger causes stress on the body and mind, physically and emotionally. Just ask yourself when you are angry. " Is it really going to help to being angry?", or "Is this how I really want to be like." Being angry is a way of trying to take control of a situation. So what are you trying to control? Try and not engage in your angers daily just let them pass by as much as you can by being mindful of it. Accept that it does happen but don't over indulge in anger.
- Just for today don't worry.Be mindful if your mind seeks to worry. Worry is the biggest thief in the universe and it steals time. By the time you have done worrying you could have done 20 things to have solved the worry. Worry steals time and life and you can never get those moments back of your life ever. Only worry about what you can change in that moment. And every time you think you are about to get consumed by your worries , take 3 deep breaths and say to yourself. All life comes to me easy, joy and glory. Be in acceptance that worries happens but don't let it consume you mind and block out the possibilities that can change your life for the better.
