It's that time of year again.? Yes, it's the change of seasons. Over here in the Southern hemisphere we are slowly leaving the summer shores to move into a autumn. What does this mean for you? Lots of dust, dry hot air, windy and a few tree species going into bloom . All these environmental elements combined is just the right recipe for Hay Fever and Flu like symptoms. Now here is the Toffee. Reiki can assist in relieving the symptoms and improving a better state of emotions during the Change of Seasons Blues.

During the change of season your body's immune system goes a little haywire. The body defense system is fighting off DUST and small particles of unidentified bio matter. From your body's defense system point of view, it's fighting the "Great Alien" invasion of 2016.  So all the symptoms you could be feeling from emotionally down trodden to sulking in bed with a box of twin savers and half the pharmacy stacked next to your bedside table. You have to understand your body is upset, it is working hard to fight off the foreigner invaders that is invading your respiratory system.( nose sinuses, throat and lungs.) You are feeling the effects of the great invasion war. Now matter how you look at it the way you are feel is directly linked to your state of mind and this directly influences your decision making about everything in your life.

With this said. How can Reiki help you survive the change of season Blues? Your daily life has a varying level of stress without having to feel the effects of Hay fever and or a cold, now you add a cold to the mix? Where a Reiki session can really assist you is helping you to relax. Relieving stress held within the body, will help you body's blood circulatory system to to flow easier and assist your body in removing toxins from your system during this time of year. The moment you're not feeling well you begin to feel anxious so subtly you're not even consciously aware of it. That causes extra tension on top of your normal life,- your body temperature goes up, muscles are tighter and it's restricting blood flow through out the body. A Reiki healing session will relieve that muscles tensions that in turns unrestricted blood flow that is helping to remove toxins and bringing more oxygen to deprived muscle arias. When you get more oxygen into your system you start feeling better. When you have less toxins in your body you feel healthier your whole emotional state will improve drastically. That makes it easier to get through this time of year.

  • Eat fresh foods stay away from over processed foods and junk foods - junk food is hard to digest and it over taxes your body while it's fighting invasion 2016 - make it easy for your body to get over the change of season blues.

What is Reiki?
Part 1 

This is a question that does get asked very often.And here is the toffee, it's one of the few question that doesn't have a real answer.Each person is unique and experiences the world differently. Every person experience Reiki healing differently. No two sessions are ever alike.But here is one pointer that most people experience and agree upon during a Reiki session.
  • Relaxation. Most people feel a deeper sense of relaxation when engaged in a Reiki session.
In today's world we get told daily how terribly harmful stress, anxiety and depression is for the human body. More and more scientific studies brings home the data to prove these statements to be true. People exercise, eat healthy and get all their check ups. But yet so many people are unhappy, stressed and anxious all the time. 
  • Being in a deeper state of relaxation gives the human body chance to activate its own natural healing,to be in a better state of health, physical health and mental health.
Reiki is Based around a few basic principles, that if applied in your daily life will bring more relaxation into your life. Here are two of them for today.
  • Just for today don't anger. Be mindful of your anger in every moment. Anger causes stress on the body and mind, physically and emotionally. Just ask yourself when you are angry. " Is it really going to help to being angry?", or "Is this how I really want to be like." Being angry is a way of trying to take control of a situation. So what are you trying to control? Try and not engage in your angers daily just let them pass by as much as you can by being mindful of it. Accept that it does happen but don't over indulge in anger.
  • Just for today don't worry.Be mindful if your mind seeks to worry. Worry is the biggest thief in the universe and it steals time. By the time you have done worrying you could have done 20 things to have solved the worry. Worry steals time and life and you can never get those moments back of your life ever. Only worry about what you can change in that moment. And every time you think you are about to get consumed by your worries , take 3 deep breaths and say to yourself. All life comes to me easy, joy and glory. Be in acceptance that worries happens but don't let it consume you mind and block out the possibilities that can change your life for the better.
